During WWII Rose worked at a factory manufacturing airplane parts and married Reno Gauci on June 8, 1946. They moved to San Francisco where she worked for Schlage Locks as an inspector while raising their two children; Grace and Kenneth. After Reno died in 1987, Rose moved to Novato in 1991. She loved to make pastizzis for her family and took pride in caring for her 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her two children, Grace Moscuzza (Santo) and Kenneth Gauci (Susan), grandchildren Anna (Jeff), Lisa (Josh), Emma, Melanie, and Matthew, and great-grandchildren Ryan, Gianna, Tyler, and Callie.
